The Tide is Rising

 Adyli has spent the last three years climbing ropes, dodging fists, and dreaming of escape from Fallswarf Harbor. She doesn’t care where the tide takes her—so long as it’s far from the kingdom of Duvian and a past that destroyed her family. But when her home is ransacked, she watches her freedom sail away.

Exhausted, run down, starving, and out of options, Adyli steals away on the next sea-worthy ship she sees. The Veiled Star. It doesn’t take long before she’s discovered and thrown at a notorious pirate captain’s feet, where she’s given a choice; his quarters or the brig.

With more than her freedom at risk, Adyli must decide what she’s willing to lose—her freedom, her life… or her heart.
